BLS is a small charity based in Paddington delivering unique learning experiences for children and young people aboard our purpose-built barge, known as the Floating Classroom.

To support our charitable mission, we market the barge as a floating events venue — the Electric Barge — offering catered canal cruises between Paddington and King’s Cross for private parties, corporate socials, and team workshops.

While we are proud of our charitable roots, the Electric Barge operates as a fully commercial hospitality venue, with the same high standards for guest experience as any professional events business.

Events Supervisor

Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 per annum, pro-rata

Reporting to: Events Manager

ContRact: 1st May - 30th September 2026, full-time 37.5hpw
